Collaboration and Initiatives

  • Collaboration and Initiatives

The Office of Research and Analytics has cultivated strong partnerships in the housing sector and beyond. In collaboration with community organizations, academic institutions, and other government agencies, OHFA is developing innovative housing solutions that seek to improve outcomes for all Ohioans.

Below is a list of research partners and initiatives associated with such collaboration.

John Glenn College of Public Affairs

For over a decade, the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University has been providing research support coordinated by Dr. Stephanie Moulton, PhD. Current research projects include analysis of forbearance and refinancing activity in the OHFA homebuyer program, evaluation of the Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) program, and collaboration on the Power of Home program.

The Ohio Longitudinal Data Archive

OHFA is one of several state agencies participating in the Ohio Longitudinal Data Archive (OLDA). The OLDA, a project of the Ohio Education Research Center (OERC) at The Ohio State University, is a data repository that offers researchers a unique opportunity to connect the housing, education, and workforce experiences of Ohioans over time.

National Zoning Atlas

The National Zoning Atlas is a project focused on democratizing access to zoning information across the United States. Our team is assisting with gathering digital copies of current zoning code text and maps for every jurisdiction in Ohio.
