OHFA Board Approves Financing for Seven Housing Developments

COLUMBUS, OH - Today, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Board approved financing from various programs to support seven housing developments to create or preserve affordable housing units throughout the state.

The seven developments that received Board approvals for funding are:

Central

Lofts at 40 Long: Co-developers Woda Cooper Development, Inc., and IMPACT Community Action received approval for a $2.5 million Housing Development Loan and $10 million in Ohio Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (Ohio LIHTCs). The development will create 121 units for families as part of the adaptive reuse of the former YMCA in Columbus (Franklin County).

The Heights on Main: Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority received approval for a $2.5 million Housing Development Loan and $10 million in Ohio LIHTCs. The development will create 103 units for families in Reynoldsburg (Franklin County).

The Scarborough: Co-developers National Church Residences, Revival Development Corporation, and Nix Development Company received approval for authorization for up to $14.5 million in OHFA-issued Multifamily Housing Bonds. The development will create 84 units for older Ohioans in Columbus (Franklin County).

Northeast

HUB 27: Co-developers Pivotal Development LLC and Metro West Community Development received approval for a $2.5 million Housing Development Loan and $9,554,330 in Ohio LIHTCs. The development will create 53 new units for families in Cleveland (Cuyahoga County).

Midtown Lofts: Co-developers NRP Holdings LLC and Midtown Cleveland Inc received approval for a $2.5 million Housing Development Loan and $10 million in Ohio LIHTCs. The development will create 120 new units for families in Cleveland (Cuyahoga County).

Residences at Ascend: Testa Enterprises, Inc., received approval for a $2.5 million Housing Development Loan and $9,342,180 in Ohio LIHTCs. The development will create 71 LIHTC units and 66 market rate units as part of the adaptive reuse of the former Centre City Hotel in Akron (Summit County).

Walton Senior Apartments: Volker Development Inc. received approval for a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan. This development previously received 2024 9% LIHTCs. The development will create 52 new units for older Ohioans in Cleveland (Cuyahoga County).
