OHFA Announces New Board Member, Staff, and Employee Promotions
COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) is proud to share that Mark Ricketts has joined the Board and Heather Clingerman, Manickavalli Bose, Rihana Doyle, Yolanda Patton, and Danielle Fouse have joined the OHFA team. Duane McCrobie has been promoted.
With a career spanning more than 30 years in the housing industry, Mark Ricketts has joined the OHFA Board. Mark retired from National Church Residences in 2023 after serving in multiple board and leadership positions. Prior to joining National Church Residences, Mark was vice president of Rockbridge Real Estate Investors, Inc., an investment banking firm. He has extensive experience in banking and finance. He has served on the LeadingAge Ohio Board of Directors and LeadingAge Business Strategy Council and is associated with the Housing Partnership Network and the Stewards of Affordable Housing. Mark graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Heather Clingerman has joined OHFA as associate counsel in the Legal Office. Prior to joining OHFA, she worked for the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Office for Exceptional Children as an education program specialist attorney. Heather has more than 10 years of experience conducting investigations in compliance with state and federal special education regulations and providing sound advice, guidance, and support to the department and the legal support staff related to federal special education regulations and state administrative rules. She has a bachelor's degree from Ohio University and a juris doctorate from Capital University Law School.
Manickavalli "Manicka" Bose is a new construction project specialist 2 working in the Office of Multifamily Housing, Planning, Preservation and Development Division. She recently worked for OHFA as a construction monitoring associate and was an architectural analyst in the past. She performed architectural reviews and periodic site visits to verify if projects met design and architectural standards. She also prepared field reports documenting deficiencies for both rehabilitation and new construction projects. Manicka has a bachelor's degree in architecture from Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute and is pursuing architecture licensure in Ohio.
OHFA's Office of Multifamily Housing Compliance Division welcomes three new housing examiner trainees: Danielle Fouse, Yolanda Patton, and Rihana Doyle.
Yolanda Patton transferred to OHFA from Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities where she was a disability adjudicator. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in architecture/interior design from Wilberforce University and Oakland University.
Danielle Fouse joined OHFA with a decade of property management industry experience, including conventional, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-subsidized, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program (LIHTC) properties. Throughout her career, she's filled the roles of leasing agent, assistant property manager, property manager, and project manager. Having graduated from Phoenix University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and management, Danielle complemented her education with studies at Wilberforce University.
Rihana Doyle started at OHFA as a temporary Save the Dream Ohio Homeowner Assistance Fund team lead after graduating from Canal Winchester High School. She was recently hired as permanent staff in the Office of Multifamily Housing, Compliance Division, as a housing examiner trainee.
In May 2024, OHFA promoted Duane McCrobie to director of capital markets responsible for debt management related to single family and multifamily debt issuance. He previously served as the residential lending assistant manager in the Office of Single Family Housing. During his tenure at OHFA, Duane also managed loan reviewers who protected OHFA from compliance risks; managed interest rate/pipeline risk through hedging, trading, and loan sale activity; and calculated daily interest rates for all OHFA's single family housing programs. Prior to joining OHFA as a mortgage funding analyst in January 2018, he worked for seven years as team lead fulfilling trade and pool commitments, including over $2 billion in mortgage-backed securities for 25 different housing finance agencies, for the pooling department at US Bank. Duane studied business administration at Ohio University.
