OHFA Announces New Staff

COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) announced additions to its leadership team and staff. OHFA is proud to share that Randy Durham, Rishawn Levy, Jannette Patete, Kellen Showes, and Heather White have joined the OHFA team.

Randy Durham joins OHFA's Office of Single Family Housing, Residential Lending Division, as a housing development analyst. He previously worked as a loan originator at Flagstar Bank, Inc, where his duties included helping borrowers process loans, and analyzing self-employed borrowers' tax returns and income and balance statements for loan decisions. Randy received his bachelor's degree in economics from The Ohio State University.

Rishawn Levy, housing examiner trainee in the Office of Multifamily Housing, Program Compliance Division, comes from The NRP Group/Residences at Cornerstone where she was a Community Manager/Property Manager. Rishawn also worked for the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) as an eligibility specialist for the housing choice voucher program (Section 8). She received her associate's degree in computer networking technology from Remington College and has a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification from National Center for Housing Management.

Jannette Patete is a bond accountant 1 in OHFA's Finance Office. With a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from American InterContinental University, she previously worked for Hokuta USA Inc, as an account specialist that processed account receivables and payables and monitored bank and credit card accounts.

Kellan Showes joins OHFA's Office of Multifamily Housing's Program Compliance Division as the director of Program Compliance. Prior to joining OHFA, he worked at the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority as a development manager. He managed various projects and application processes, developing the financing for new and rehabilitated low-income housing. Kellen earned his bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in public administration from Ohio University.

Heather White joins OHFA as housing examiner trainee in the Office of Multifamily Housing, Program Compliance Division with more than 18 years of affordable housing experience. Previously, she worked at Woda Cooper Companies as a certified occupancy specialist. Her duties included assisting the manager with lease-ups, monitoring rents and occupancy issues, and completing public housing authority (PHA) vouchers for approval. She received an associate's degree in selling skills and sales operations and is pursuing bachelor's degree in business leadership from Capella University. She is a Housing Credit Certified Professional, C3P Certified Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Professional, and has her RD Star certification.
