OHFA Compliance Policies and Regulations Training

This course focuses primarily on OHFA's requirements for the multifamily programs it manages. The training session will provide industry professionals with tools and knowledge of OHFA specific requirements, policies and best practices. Participants will learn:

  • OHFA Multifamily Basics
  • Credit Delivery and Compliance Consequences
  • Verifications, Forms and Tenant Files
  • Next Steps & Onboarding
  • VAWA Regulations
  • Digital-age Income Sources

Registration

Training sessions will be held from 12:30-4:30pm.

Continuing Education Credits

The training session will fulfill OHFA's Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) training requirement in order to obtain IRS Form 8609 and provide 4 hours of continuing education credit for the Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) the National Compliance Professional (NCP), and the National Compliance Professional-Executive (NCP-E) designations.

Attendance

To receive credit for any training, at least 90% of the class must be attended. For webinar trainings, attendees must view the webinar under their own registration to receive credit and get a certificate.

Substitutions & Attendee Cancellations

Substitutions are not possible; therefore, a new registration will be required for the new attendee.

For any paid trainings, no refunds will be granted for cancellations and "no-shows" will be billed for the entire registration amount.

OHFA Cancellation

OHFA reserves the right to cancel trainings if there are less than 30 registrants. Notification of the cancellation will be sent at least 3 days before the training except in the event of a weather cancellation.
