Atcheson Place Lofts is a Housing Credit development providing the new construction of a four-story building for families in Columbus (Franklin County). The development includes 80 one- and two-bedroom units in the King-Lincoln District. Dreamfield Park and the Beatty Community Center are both less than a half mile from the project, and offer opportunities for indoor and outdoor recreation.
The project was selected for providing new affordable housing in an area subject to a revitalization plan and growth in the community. In addition, residents have easy access to public transportation.
Project amenities include on-site management, a community room, a fitness room, and outdoor recreation. Unit amenities include high-efficiency HVAC, vinyl plank flooring, Energy Star appliances, and laundry hook-ups. The project has also achieved LEED Silver Certification.
The development is in proximity to entertainment, recreation, community, and health care facilities. Atcheson Place Lofts has elected to use income averaging to support a range of incomes from 30% to 80% of AMGI, with 15% of the units available for families at or below 30% of AMGI.
