Mobile Tour: YWCA - The Griswold Building

Tour the historic Griswold building downtown. See the extensive renovation that upgraded the resident space from dorm-like units with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities to 91 independent efficiency and one-bedroom apartments. These units are for homeless individuals and those at risk of homelessness. This renovation preserved the historical integrity of the building.

Sarah Malone, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing
Ms. Malone joined Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) as Vice President of Fund Management and Development in January 2008. She was promoted to Director of Fund Management in January 2012. As Director of Fund Management, Ms. Malone manages the day to day responsibilities of the Fund Management department. She is also responsible for the underwriting and management of the multi-investor, proprietary, and secondary equity funds, as well as the management of lower tier investment closings. This includes structuring the investment to meet investment guidelines and evaluation of the long term project development team. Ms. Malone works closely with investors on their due diligence prior to their investment in an OCCH Fund. Before joining OCCH, Ms. Malone worked as a commercial lender for National City Bank. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Ashland University and a Masters of Business Administration from Capital University.


Faith Williams, YWCA Columbus
As Vice President of Programs, Faith Williams brings leadership to YWCA Columbus' staff who serves the community. Authentic leadership skills serve her well as she leads experienced, dedicated teams working the areas of social justice, housing, emergency shelter, and child care. Prior to joining YWCA Columbus in 2014, Faith was a partner at the law firm of Bricker & Eckler, where she also served as part of the firm's management team for several years. Faith's experience also includes leading the Federal Affairs staff at the Health Insurance Institute of America, in Washington, DC. Faith's commitment to the community runs deep, with extensive volunteer work for the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio, the League of Women Voters, and many other organizations.
