OHFA 2022 Third Quarter Agency at a Glance

It ’s hard to believe that summer has ended and we’re well into the fall. It has been another busy quarter here at OHFA. We continue to help Ohioans recover from the financial impacts of the pandemic through the Save the Dream Ohio program, and are working diligently to prepare for our November reporting deadlines. The Office of Research and Analytics released its Economic Impact Report, showing how OHFA’s operations and programs contribute to the state’s economy. OHFA also was recognized by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services on the DataOhio platform for the interactive FY 2021 Housing Needs Assessment. The Office of Multifamily Housing received a record number of applications for 4% credits with Bond Gap Financing this year, and are preparing for the award announcement in the fourth quarter. The Multifamily Office also hosted a roundtable with developers and representatives from the Area Agencies on Aging to identify new opportunities for collaboration. Meanwhile, the Compliance Division is working to complete the last of the 2022 inspections and updating the rent increase policy. In this update, you’ll also find more information on OHFA’s initiatives to advance racial equality through housing, including detailed initiatives our staff will undertake in the coming year. Last but surely not least, we’re putting the final touches on the 2022 Ohio Housing Conference! We’re excited to be back in-person this year and can’t wait to see everyone. Don’t forget to register before November 11th to receive the Early Bird price. 2 Advancing Racial Equity Through Affordable Housing 4 Ohio Housing Conference Preview 5 Office of Research and Analytics Update 6 An Update: Save the Dream Ohio 7 Multifamily Housing Development Division Update 8 Multifamily Housing Compliance Division Update 9 Employee News WAYSTOKEEP INTOUCH: JOINOUR EMAILLIST: 2022 THIRD QUARTER AGENCY AT A GLANCE
