OHFA UPDATE - PAGE 3 - 2021 SECOND QUARTER COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING UPDATE DORCAS TAYLOR JONES CHIEF COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER Our first virtual Race for a Place (to Call Home) 5K met its goal to promote health and wellness and support housing organizations across the state as they serve the most vulnerable Ohio families and children. Thanks to everyone who participated this year. Springtime is also when the C&M team gets to introduce Ohioans to the OHFA homebuyer programs through our annual spring homebuyer advertising campaign. This year ’s tagline is Homeownership. Ready When You Are. We want prospective homebuyers to know that OHFA programs are available for them whenever they want to take that step. We have seen increased responses to our programs from our digital advertising, which connects prospective homebuyers directly our customer-focused website, myohiohome.org . The next few months will be busy as we focus on supporting our colleagues with upcoming reports, rolling out the summer homebuyer campaign, and finalizing the plan to distribute the Homeowners Assistance Fund to Ohioans struggling to pay their mortgages. 365 Registrants $2,062 in Extra Donations $35,000 raised Recipients: Cleveland/Cuyahoga County Continuum Of Care Neighborhood Properties, Inc.
