It’s Housing Tax Credit season for Multifamily Housing’s Development division. It happens every year, and every year it is a busy, busy time. The Multifamily Housing Compliance staff anticipates the day they will conduct physical inspections, but until the day comes, are working diligently on file audits and other critical issues. Housing Policy staff are working on this year’s Annual Plan and collaborating with The Ohio State University and Framework on The Power of Home, a program designed to help homeowners stay in their homes through post-purchase guidance and small-dollar support. The Outreach & Engagement team are moving forward with making connections with realtors and lenders and developing new webinars to educate partners on what they need to stay in compliance. Residential Lending staff indicate more homeowners are taking advantage of OHFA homebuyer programs and its record low interest rates.
