FHLB Cincinnati Roundtable: How to Successfully Secure an AHP Grant

Join FHLB Cincinnati representatives for an interactive discussion on the key elements in securing an AHP grant. We will talk about common features of successful AHP applications, mistakes to avoid, and post-grant award expectations. If you have secured an AHP grant, or applied but did not receive an award, come share your stories and compare notes with FHLB. The result could be a successful AHP application for your next project.

Mary Hernandez, Federal Home Loan Bank Of Cincinnati
Mary Hernandez is the Affordable Housing Program (AHP) Manager for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. In this capacity, Ms. Hernandez oversees assessment and recommendation of AHP funding awards for housing development projects, disbursement of funds, and monitoring throughout the development and long-term operational cycle of approved projects. The AHP is available to FHLB member financial institutions located in Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee, and their community partners. Ms. Hernandez has over 20 years' experience in housing, community and economic development in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Texas Woman's University and a Master of Science degree in Executive Leadership and Organizational Change from Northern Kentucky University, as well as several certifications in housing and economic development finance, Low Income Housing Tax Credit development and compliance, and property management.
