Governor John Kasich Appoints Duana M. Patton to OHFA's Board
COLUMBUS - Governor John Kasich has appointed Duana M. Patton, CEO of the Ohio District Five Area Agency on Aging, Inc., to the Ohio Housing Finance Agency's (OHFA) Board. Her term began March 9, 2018, and will end January 21, 2024.
Ms. Patton has 30 years of experience with nonprofit organizations. As CEO of the Ohio District Five Area Agency on Aging, Inc., she has focused on collaborating with local organizations to provide resources to seniors in the agency's nine-county area. Furthermore, she was recognized for her efforts to bring service coordination programming to local senior housing. In 2017, she was named Practitioner of the Year by the Ohio Association of Gerontology and Education for her work to improve the lives of Ohio's seniors.
In addition, she also serves as the President and CEO of the Area Agency on Aging Foundation, which she co-founded in 2011. She is a member of the Galion Rotary Club, Eastern Stars and the Chamber of Commerce and serves as a board member for the Ohio Association of Area Agencies on Aging; Direction Home, LLC; and North Central State College Foundation.
Duana M. Patton completed her Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Western Governors University, where she also received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Care. As a Board member for OHFA, Ms. Patton provides a unique perspective on the issues seniors face in Ohio.
